Sijo's Thought of MonthAdaptability, Efficiency and SpeedAll the blocking actions in Tsun Jo can be done with an open handor closed fist. All the blocking moves are similar to strikes insofar as the point of origin and where the hand returns to. The path that strikes and blocks follow is not the same but very similar. This greatly adds to the speed of both as only small adaptations have to be made. It’s a good idea to practice blocks with an open hand as well as a closed fist.
